Yay!!! You finally got it! I've been thinking about trying for it. I have over 700 different items in my SDB and I really haven't been working at it. It's just that I haven't taken the time to restock my shop and I've been sticking everything in the SDB. You watch though, as soon as I start trying for it I won't get any new items!!  Glad you got the avi you wanted, cutie. ;D |

yeah the last mile of items is the very hardest i think...not only because you seem to have it all under 200 nps but your so close you want to finish it quickly! but just have patience and it will come, eventually lol.

good luck sarah! and i agree with fairy, the last ones are the hardest cuz you've gotten most of the cheap-o items by then.... but it's really worth it in the long run, of course take your time selling everything... i was impatient to clean out my sdb afterwards and was just donating a bunch of stuff out or putting it in trades and basically accepting anything that ws offered on it because it was mostly junk items or i had duplicates of them.... right now i have over 1700 items in my sdb and only like 1200 are singles |

lindsey that is cause we are pack rats lol...i have 8326 items but most are duplicates and i have 1895 singles.

I was pumped to sell (personally)... I upgraded my shop and began selling going down the drop down list in the SDB, but I saved the Food ones for last because I had about 400+ in food. Than I started selling and I used the SW and priced things higher than the wiz, so I could make some more moola. And it worked... All I had to do was do a little bit of false advertising on the Neoboards saying "Cheap Toys! Blowout Sale! Earn you Packrat Avy!" and I was selling all my items. Although I still am selling foods. But I only priced the items about 20-50 neopoints more (or 100s more in some of the rarer cases)... so really I wasn't really false advertising. I even had some people neomail me saying I had good prices!
But I thought it was neat to look back at all the sales over 1001 neopoints so I didn't delete any of the History. And there were some cases that the username was like "rainbow" and they bought I rainbow item, or they had a whole pirate lookup so I neomailed them telling them I had more _____ items and I could set up a trade if they wanted. That helped a bit too.
But really take advantage of the Neoboards... just don't over advertise... Man I advertise my shop in 2 threads maybe and I had someone neomail me telling me not to spam. I would hardly call that spamming, but tomato tomahto. Hehe.

Do the items have to be 1000 DIFFERENT items or 1000 TOTAL items?

1000 different items...which if you just pace yourself and keep everything it gets easier cause you find tons of stuff for cheap if you just look around the shops..things you might not have thought about...like all the cheat battlecards are cheap...but can be won by playing the game cheat. and going to maraquan fishing...just keep everything unless you get duplicates and want to sell them..go to the trading post and find lots of 10 items that are cheap and bid cheap lots of times people just want to get rid of their junk and you can benefit..then this summer we get to go to mcdonalds each day on neopets for free things for a month in america then another country has their mcdonalds freebies you get stuff..so that is 60 items free. then if you kept your adevent calendar stuff that is around 30 more freebies or cheap items that are easy to buy well some of them.
